I Wanna Hold Your Hand: Adolescents connive to get tickets for the Beatles' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. If this primordial comedy appears infrequently stupid and pretentious, that's the cost it purchases being a commonly precise depiction of a loud occurrence. Comic Jordan is as humorously Sullivan as ever seen. Steven Spielberg was executive creator. Cast includes Nancy Allen, Bobby DiCicco, Marc McClure, Susan Kendall Newman, Wendie Sperber, and Can Jordan. (104 minutes, 1978)

Delirious: however entertaining satire of popularity and star as seen through the beady, bitter eyes of uncouth NYC paparazzo Buscemi. He grudgingly befriends a destitute performer-optimistic Pitt who, obviously, might just become The Next Large Thing. DiCillo inscribed this for Buscemi and together they have virtually as much fun as in their first teaming, Living in Oblivion. Cast includes Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Alison Lohman, Gina Gershon, Kevin Corrigan, Tom Aldredge, Lynn Cohen, and Elvis Costello. (107 minutes, 2007)

Last Summer in the Hamptons: An self conscious youthful film megastar Foyt shows up in the summer society of East Hampton, Long Island, and gets to be engaged with the numerous show people who contain a circumscribe of buddies-lovers-companions. Cast includes Viveca Lindfors, Jon Robin Baitz, Savannah Boucher, Roscoe Lee Browne, Diane Salinger, and Kristoffer Tabori. (105 minutes, 1995)

The Cherry Orchard: Depressed, muted adaptation of Chekhov classic in regards to a once prosperous Russian clan's battle to deal with the approaching sale of their estate and the cherished title orchard. Made with care and well performed, although not relatively powerful as either a film or as an "opened-up" play. Cast includes Alan Bates, Katrina Cartlidge, Owen Teale, Tushka Bergen, and Michael Gough. (141 minutes, 1999)

Gorky Park: Soaking up kill puzzle set in Russia, where patrol investigator Hurt doggedly chases the case of 3 bodies buried in Gorky Park. Lots of twirls and turns, lucid environment with Helsinki tripling for Moscow harmed somehow by unconvincing romance and protracted finale. Cast includes William Hurt, Lee Marvin, Brian Dennehy, Ian Bannen, Joanna Pacula, and Alexander Knox. (128 minutes, 1983)

Adam at 6 AM: A young and disenchanted professor at a California University attends a funeral of a relative out in Missouri. He decides to stay the summer, and finds a job putting up power lines. He meets a woman, falls in love and now must decide which life he will lead. Stars Michael Douglas, Meg Foster, and Lee Purcell. (1970 drama with Robert Scheerer directing)

Bram Stoker's Dracula: Count Dracula is on a mission to find the one woman he truly ever loved. HE wants to be eternally reunited with her. He leaves Transylvania and goes to London to see if a woman who looks exactly like his love of centuries ago is in fact the woman he searches for.

The Gorgon: In 19th-century Balkan village, one of the snake-headed Gorgons still subsists, turning her sufferers to rock-hut who is she by night? Cast includes Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Richard Pasco, Barbara Shelley, and Michael Goodwin. (83 minutes, 1964)

The Last Samurai: This is a true epic story of a lost soldier who winds up fighting a war in a far away land. Hired by the emperor of Japan to train his army, he is quickly captured by the Samurai he was training the army to defeat. Living amongst these great people he comes to believe in the way of the Samurai. He winds up fighting on their side, with all of his heart.
